IN'S SUMMER 2014

I know that many women are asking themself the same thing in this time of the year. WHAT IS IN THIS SUMMER? I actually also asked myself that question so I decided to go on the internet and search all the trends. Well actually 7. Although I am not the kind of person to follow trends that much I was still corious to know what will be going on. As I was done with searching I thought that this might be something people will care about so I decided to make a blogpost about it. Here it is.

1. PATTERNS
As I researched I saw that many magazines such as Vogue, Elle, InStyle etc. all had different kinds of patterns listed up. In the end they all meant patterns in general. So one thing that will be in this summer is patterns everywhere. On every top, skirt, shorts, pants etc. will be patterns. So go crazy with your fashion sense.

2. PRINTS
Another thing which I saw over and over the whole internet is prints. For example Miu Miu showed us how that can be done. Animal faces were printed all over the shirts and dresses. If that may be a little to risky for you( I know it is for me) you can also make your print for 2014 be camouflage. Another thing which can be seen alot on the runways is the good old flower print. But another interesting thing which can be seen, is from Mary Katrantzou. Because she cooperated with the shoe label Gianvito Rossi this year, many of her dresses were full of prints showing close ups of shoes.

3. LEATHER
The next thing is actually a typical winter material. Leather. This year leather can be seen in the form of shorts, dresses etc. A few years before now leather could only be seen in the colours brown, black and maximal red(It pants from Isabel Marant). This year we dont need these dark colours. Leather can be seen in white, light pink and even yellow, which leads us to the next fashion trend.

4. YELLOW
As you already heard yellow is the in colour this year. Sun yellow, gold yellow, dark yellow, light yellow, lemon yellow....you know what I mean. If you think wearing a yellow dress might be to much for you, no problem! You will not have a problem with finding yellow jewerly in the stores. You can also go crazy with buying lots of yellow shoes.

5.TRANSPARANT
This year wearing transparent clothes is very in. You can rock the seethrough blouses because showing your underwear can also be very cool. At least if you dont show to much. From simple transparent blouses to seethough dresses...everything is going to be accepted. You can even wear it to work or school with a simple blazer over it!

6. CROP
I love the next trent. Crop tops! I actually bought a crop top a week before today and now it is a trend! This year it is not even bad to show your full stomach but if that may be a little to crazy for you then this is also okay. You can try simple cut out or wear a highwaisted short with a not that short crop top.

7. FRINGE
The next trend I actually just found on the Vogue website but I trust them so here it is: Fringe. I love this style because I have a bag from Guess which I am planing to show in a outfit of the day. But this year Fringe can not only be found on bags but also on dresses. I hear Fringe and think right away of Cowboy. If you like this style, good for you because you can find a lot of that this year. If you are not fan of this style, no problem! Fringe can be found in simple chic and elegant outfits.

OUTFIT OF THE DAY VACATION 2

Hey again. As I am still fully relaxing in my vacations I decided to do another outfit of the day. Maybe I will do another one today which shows my outfit of the night. Because you mostly already know most of my staple clothing pieces such as my winter jacket and boots which I even did a review on( http://becauseitoldyou.blogspot.de/2014/01/empodium-boots.html ) it will not be as long and fully detailed like my reviews. Lets get started.

 This is my full outfit. Like always I am wearing my warm winter jacket and my shoes. You dont really see it on this picture but like yesterday I am wearing my gloves( here is alink to the outfit yesterday: http://becauseitoldyou.blogspot.de/2014/02/outfit-of-day-holidays.html ). 

 To be honest this actually one of my favorite pictures, not because you can see the clothes that good but because of the beautiful background and my expression. The top I am wearing is from BCBG and is a black and white striped  knit sweatshirt with cutouts at the shoulders. I think it is very comfortable and you can wear it with almost everything and look good. My pants are highwaisted jeans from Zara and I almost wear them all the time, especially with combination of the top with the pants.

 I actually wanted to describe the pants in this picture but you couldn't really see them. My hair was just in a simple ponytail because I had my hat on. That as it for this quick post. Hope you enjoyed.

OUTFIT OF THE DAY HOLIDAYS

Hey guys! So today and maybe tomorrow I just want to do a little outfit of the day because I am currently in my vacation at the Baltic Sea. I have some nice pics and a normal outfit.

 This is a picture of my total outfit but with my jacket open. I had it closed the whole day because the wind was very cold.

 My hat is from Tally Weill ( is that how you write it?) and I am in love with it. It has this cute panda face on it. 

 My pant are a light pink which is already washed out a little bit. My jacket is my warm winter jacket from Bershka which I think I already showed in a outfit of the day. My pullover is also from Bershka and has nice detail on the shoulders which I am going to show in the next picture. 

 This is the detail from the pullover. As you can see it has this simple knit and then the sparkly little things. 

 Again these are my boots from empodium which I have a post on so you can just look at this review.

 This is my belt from Freida&Freddies. I always wear this belt with the pants.

 The gloves I am wearing are from my mom. I actually don't know from which brand they are but they have this nice pattern in the front and leather in the back. That was it for the outfit of the day. See you tomorrow!

NAKED 1 PALETTE URBAN DECAY

Heyyyy. On twitter I posted that I will be having a exciting post today and here it is. Okay so maybe everyone already has the Naked 1 palette from Urban Decay but well I didn't. So because I live it Germany we can not buy the Naked Palette unless we buy it from the internet and if I do it will cost the double of the price. We asked some friends of us to get them from Paris and they did. So here is a review from the Naked Eye 1 palette.

 Sorry for the bad lightning but here it is how it looks from the outside which includes the plastic stuff and everything else. I was so excited when I got it but that is not the point of this post. 

 So with the palette comes the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion. First of all I looove the packaging but now more important I actually love the feeling on the lids and how it does make the eyeshadow stay on the whole day. 

 This is the outside of the feeling. I actually have a question for all of you: Was it always ot of velvet? Please answer me in the comments! I love how it has the name in gold and then everything else in this dark brown colour. This makes it look like a good quality. 

 This is how it looks when you first open it. You cant really see everything that good now but there is just a mirror and NAKED written on it again. 

 Sorry that this is the wrong way around but here are the first 5 colours. So from the left or well from the bottom. The first colour is ''Virgin'' and I almost always use it as a base. The second colour is ''Sin'' and one of my favorite colour because it is this light rosegold. The third colour is ''Naked'' and well just a very nice new colour which I use it the crease sometimes aaand it is one of the only matte colours. ''Sidecar'' is the fourth colour and it looks a little bit like ''Sin'' just more gold. The last colour on this picture is ''Buck'' and a sparkly brown colour. 

 The next colour is ''Half Baked'' and this very sparkly gold colour which I loooove. The second colour from the bottom is ''Smog'' and I don't want to say that I love every colour but I do. This colour is this dark copper colour and it looks perfect on the lid. ''Darkhorse'' is the name of the next colour and I actually never used this colour but it looks very nice. The next colour is ''Toasted'' and OMG I love love love this colour. It is kind of a lighter version of ''Smog'' and thats why it is also one of my favorite colours. 

 These are the last three colours of the 12 colours in this palette. The next colour is ''Hustle'' and a more dramatic copper brown colour. ''Creep'' is the name of the second colour. It is this black colour but because of the sparkle it looks like a very dark grey colour. The last colour is ''Gunmetal'' and I think the name best describes the colour. It is a silver sparkle colour which is to dramatic for a everyday look but I still love it. I love every single colour because they are very pigmented. 

 This is actually my motheres arm and she put just one layer of each colour on the arm. So from left to right. ''Virgin'', ''Sin'', ''Naked'', ''Sidecar'', ''Buck'', ''Half Baked'', ''Smog'', ''Darkhorse'', ''Toasted'', ''Hustle'', ''Creep'', ''Gunmetal''. 

 This is the brush that came with it. It is a very good quality and it works very well. Each and every single hair on this brush is good and the part where you hold it is I think out of metal. This is my review. In conclusion I love this palette and the brush and the eyeshadow primer. For everyone who does not already own the palette, buy it!!!

EMPODIUM BOOTS

Because it is getting quite cold here and my boots from Buffalo did not match to the weather and I had to get new shoes. I always wanted Uggs but because they are extremely expensive so I couldnt afford them. When I went shoe shopping I saw these boots who looked exactly like Uggs but were about the half of the price. To be honest they were 69.95€. I got them and was very happy because they are warm and look good.

 So these are my boots. I got them in the typical chestnut Uggs colour but with these dark brown linings. I was in the snow the whole day, sleighing with my cousin and they are still okay. 

. 

 Here is another picture. Like in Uggs there is fur inside  which makes it veeery warm and comfy. I paired mine with jeans and a white top but I think you can wear them with everything.

  

 Sorry that the picture is the wrong way around. Here is the name of the brand. So I hore you liked this little post. In conclusion I think they are a perfect duplicate to Uggs and I am looking forward to wearing them more often.

BOBBI BROWN TWILIGHT PINK LIP&EYE PALETTE

Hellooo. So as promised, here is my Saturday post. Recently my mom bought herself the Bobbi Brown Twilight palette as a duplicate for the Naked Eye palette from Urban Decay. I also use it sometimes on the weekend and I totally love it. It is such a good palette with cool colours.

 So first of all I am kind of in love with the outside of the box/palette. Because it is a limited edition it has a special design which is this retro gold style. 

 When you first open it here is what you see. At the top two rows are eyeshadows, below there are the lip colours and at the very bottom are two brushes. 

 Here is just another pic from the top. The space around the eyeshadows is just gold( and after use kind of dirty)

 So here are all the eyeshadows. There are ten eyeshadows with and without sparkle and glitter.

 Here are the first four colous. The top left colour is called ''Ivory'' and is this very matte colour which I use mostly as a base. It has no glitter in it. The top right colour is called ''Dusk'' it is this dark purple/brown sparkle eyeshadow. I actually barely use this because it is very pigmented and dark. The bottom left colour is ''Slate''. The clour is greyish no sparkle colour and I use it sometimes on the outside of my eye. ''Opal'' is a silver glitter colour. I use this over some of the matte colours often to just give it this shimmer. 

 These are the next four colours. The top left colour is a gold shimmer colour and is called ''Canary''. I use this in my crease sometimes instead of a matte colour to make it more fancy. The top right colour is called ''Cool Ivory''. It is a grey/white colour and it has no shimmer in it. I dont actually use this colour often, but you coloud also use it as a base. Bottom left colour is called ''Truffle''. The colour is a veryyyy light purple colour. The next colour is called ''Twilight Pink''. It actually just looks like it is called. It is this glittery light pink colour which just looks like when the sun goes down. 

 I already talked about the left bottom and top colour so I'm going to start with the Top right colour called ''Nude''. When I put on make up I usally put on ''Ivory'' all over the lid and ''Nude'' in the crease  to just give it some depth. So the last eyeshadow colour is called ''Espresso'' and is just a simple black colour. I dont use it much but my mom sometimes uses when she makes a simple not to dramatic smokey eye. 

 These are the first two colours from the four colours. The woman on the counter told us that you can use these colours as lip and cheek colouras but my mom said that she doesn't like it on her cheeks. ''Twilight Lip'' is the first lip colour. This colour is exactly like the eyeshadow but with the difference that this colour is more pink but very beautiful for the lips. To be honest I can't imagine it on the cheeks. The right colour is this light glitter pink/red colour with the name ''Nude Pink. I can actually imagine this more on the cheeks. 

 The left colour is a light pink colour without any glitter on it. The name is '' Pale Mauve'' and that is exactly what it is. And now last but not least ''Bronzed Pink''. It is this very nude colour with a bit of glitter to it. Every colour has a nice feeling to it and have a nice colour also on the lips. I am sorry that I dont have any swatches but I forgot to shoot them. 

 The set also comes with two brushes which I totally love. The top one is the lip brush and it works very good. I actually love, love, LOVE the second brush. Always when I do my make up I use this brush in the crease and to blend. The ''hairs''(?) are very nice and I just love the brush and it is even better because it comes in a box/palette. 

 And now actually LAST BUT NOT LEAST there is a mirror in the box! Woooow.  So that was my review. I spend a whole lot of time writing this and I hope you liked this post. In conclusion I totally love this box and I am so happy that my mom(hehe) has it. It is a perfect duplicate for the Naked Eye palette but I am not sure if it is still available. Hope you enjoyed.

Little announcement

Soooo hey. I have a little announcement about when I will post and yeahhhh. So I will plan to do a outfit every second day or just when I like my outfit. But on Saturday and Sunday I will definetly post something more interesting and bigger. And if I don't post on Mondays Wednesdays or Fridays a outfit of the day, I will just post something else. That was it.
